Terms of service

Welcome to the website of Zigo Travel (www.zigotravel.com). By accessing and using this website and our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions. This legal agreement outlines the conditions under which we provide our services and the mutual obligations between Zigo Travel and its clients. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must refrain from using our services or website.

1. Use of the Website and Eligibility
The services provided on our website are intended exclusively for individuals who are legally capable of entering into binding agreements. By proceeding with a booking or using our website in any way, you declare that you are at least 18 years old and have the full legal capacity to make travel arrangements and accept contractual obligations.

You also confirm that all information you provide to us—whether personal, logistical, or financial—is complete, accurate, and current. Any errors, omissions, or misleading details are your sole responsibility and may result in service disruptions, booking cancellations, or denial of services without compensation.

2. Scope and Nature of Services
Zigo Travel specializes in private travel services. This means that every service you book is offered exclusively to you and your travel party. You will not share vehicles, guides, or itineraries with other clients unless explicitly stated and accepted in writing.

Our services include but are not limited to: private transfers, guided tours, personalized day trips, airport pickups, and other tourism-related experiences. Each service is tailored to the specific requirements you submit at the time of booking.

3. Formation of the Travel Contract
The contractual relationship between you and Zigo Travel becomes legally binding once we send a written booking confirmation. This confirmation, issued by email or other formal communication, will include all agreed-upon service details, including pricing, timing, pickup location, and other relevant conditions.

It is your responsibility to verify the details contained in the booking confirmation. If any discrepancies are noted, they must be communicated to us immediately. Otherwise, we will consider the information confirmed and final.

4. Booking Requirements and Client Obligations
To make a valid booking, you must provide Zigo Travel with the following: your full name and billing address for invoicing purposes, a valid telephone number where you can be reached, an email address you will actively monitor while traveling, the number of participants, the exact pickup and drop-off locations, and the desired date and time of the service.

Incomplete or incorrect booking information may result in delays or cancellation of your service without refund. Zigo Travel cannot be held liable for issues caused by inaccurate or insufficient data.

All bookings are subject to availability. Early booking is highly recommended to ensure service delivery according to your schedule.

5. Payment and Invoicing
Prices for services are listed in [insert currency] and include all mandatory taxes and fees, unless otherwise noted. Payment is generally required either at the time of booking confirmation or upon service delivery, depending on the specific arrangement agreed with Zigo Travel.

Invoices will be issued based on the billing details you provide. It is your responsibility to ensure that your invoicing data is correct and complete at the time of reservation.

Failure to pay the agreed price by the deadline may result in the cancellation of your booking without any obligation on our part to provide the service or issue a refund.

6. Cancellations, Modifications, and Refunds
If you wish to cancel or modify your booking, your request must be submitted in writing. Zigo Travel will evaluate such requests in accordance with the cancellation policy specific to your booking. Please note that some services may be non-refundable due to operational or seasonal constraints.

If a service is interrupted, delayed, or terminated at your request once it has commenced, no refund shall be granted under any circumstances.

Zigo Travel reserves the right to cancel any service due to force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, extreme weather conditions, or unforeseen technical problems. In such cases, we will attempt to reschedule your service or issue a full refund, at our discretion.

7. Conduct and Rules During Service
As a client of Zigo Travel, you are expected to maintain appropriate and respectful behavior at all times during the service. The following activities are strictly prohibited in all our vehicles: smoking, consumption of alcohol, eating messy or strongly odorous foods, and the use of any illicit substances.

Furthermore, we reserve the right to deny service to any individual whose behavior is aggressive, disrespectful, unsafe, or unlawful. This applies both before the start of the journey and during its course. If a client is visibly intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, or poses a threat to the driver or other passengers, service will be refused immediately and without refund.

Any damage caused to the vehicle or equipment by the client will be subject to compensation, and Zigo Travel reserves the right to seek recovery of such costs.

8. Limitation of Liability
Zigo Travel shall not be held liable for any losses, damages, injuries, or delays that result from force majeure events or factors beyond our reasonable control. This includes disruptions due to weather, road closures, vehicle breakdowns, accidents, strikes, or political instability.

Additionally, Zigo Travel is not responsible for any inconvenience, additional costs, or indirect damages caused by inaccurate information provided by the client during the booking process.

The total liability of Zigo Travel for any claim arising out of or relating to a service, whether in contract or tort, shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for that specific service.

9. Personal Data and Privacy
By submitting a booking or using our website, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy, which complies with the applicable laws on data protection (such as the GDPR, where applicable).

We use your personal data strictly for booking management, service delivery, invoicing, and communication related to your trip. Your data will never be sold or disclosed to third parties without your consent, unless required by law.
